Conficker

Apparently this April Fools computer virus, named Conficker, wasn't as virile as many predicted. Whew! Looks like we dodged another catastrophe, just like back on Jan. 1, 2000 when we tippy-toed into the new millenium with the whole "Y2K" problem.

This didn't happen

Now if we can just get those Europeans to shut down that big black hole maker, we'd be all set. Smooth sailing 'til I retire.

Then again, it's common knowledge that the world will end in 2012. I saw it on the Discovery Channel, so it's true.
